How it all began

This picture (ref. picture on the right) provoked a real emotional shock in me, and is the origin of this project.

Although concerned and responsible, we mostly only feel a sense of empathy for those miserable children, whose rights are violated and are the innocent victims of war, famine, rape and senseless violence that is inflicted on their defenseless bodies.

Kune is the result of this thinking: how can we help these innocent children, in our own little way?

The idea is to create a tool, an object that is accessible to all, and would also be symbolic in its aspect. Inspired by the two hands and the philosophical idea of the tree of life, I designed this medallion (see right)

The second step is to collect the money needed to design the jewel in bigger amounts, and in different materials (brass, semi-precious stones or even gold)

This can happen thanks to, first of all, the opening of a sales platform (online store) and through a crowdfunding platform, and obviously with the help of all our relatives and friends.

As an amateur painter, Paul created some paintings (oil paintings, on canvas, which will be put for sale on "Kune", our online store, and in any art gallery that will want to represent them.

The income of these sales will be invested in the design and marketing of the medallion.

The third step, which is the purpose of this project, is to donate 30% of the profits of the sale of the medallions, once commercialized, to Humanium, which is an organization of sponsorship for children, whose role will be to manage and distribute these donations.

We hope that, in favor of this long-term project and thanks to the help and generosity of everyone, this dream will not remain a dream but will become a reality.

Thank you in advance!

P.S.

Kune is a word in Esperanto that means Together
